瑜伽姿勢(Asana)是穩定和舒適

在這學校的practical class (也就是asana 練習),老師經常掛在嘴邊的,總是「slowly slowly」、「do according to you own capacity」、「practise according to yogic principle, otherwise it is physical exercise only」。研習瑜伽經典理論課上,老師們也常常提到:「瑜伽不是與別人較量競賽,它是體驗的學問,重視感受身體。」






Asana體位法練習,是《派坦伽利的瑜伽經 Patanjali's Yoga Sutra》(或簡稱瑜伽經)中提到的八支瑜伽行法 ashtanga yoga 裡的第三支,利用肉身鍛練紀律,以便強健體魄,免受病痛打擾,從而開放身心向更高更善的目標努力進發。

先把心定好,做動作時,全神貫注於身體的感受,體會施力與輕鬆的平衡感。

asana=yogic posture
